Friends & Pet Partnerships
Won't you help us?
An Animal Friend is a business, family or individual who has given a donation of money, goods or services to Charles Smithgall Humane Society. They will be listed on our website, (or not, if requested), as it is updated.
A Pet Partner is a business that has generously given to Smithgall Humane Society, by monetary donation, goods and/or services equivalent to $200 or more. They will be listed on our Friends & Pet Partnerships page for 6 months.
We are supported 100% by donations & can't do it without YOU!
Thanks to the following Pet Partners
InsideOut has been a ongoing supporter of the Humane Society. They not only take donations at every First Friday concert they have during the year, they've allowed us to have Adoption Booths there, to show off our wonderful shelter pets! It gives more exposure to them, and we've had successful adoptions there. They have had raffles to raise money, keep a collection can in their business, & continue to be great pet partners. Thank you, Sheilah, & InsideOut!
Elfmade Wooden Toys donates their shavings from making their handmade wooden toys... We use them in our puppy pens & kitten & cat cages - soft, natural, and works great!
Hue Rainey of Sautee Nacoochee Vineyards - coordinated Schindaufest & gave all the proceeds of their silent auction to the Humane Society...over $1000!
Thanks to the following Animal Friends
Country Inns & Suites of Helen donated old sheets & pillowcases for our shelter pets, as well as paper towels. The Adoption Center staff says "We love cleaning supplies!"
Thanks to High Country Rugby, who had a recent Bowl-a-Thon at Clarkesville Lanes and donated a portion of the money to Charles Smithgall Humane Society!

PET PARTNER SPOTLIGHT
Many thanks to Kate & Bruce Rodgers of Greenstone Soap Company! They donate Shampoochie bars to our shelter to use on our dogs & puppies! This is a 100% natural soap, with oils that are great conditioners for the dog & puppy coats! They've also donated slightly missized bars to sell at the Humane Society for a discounted price. These are exactly like their regular bars, except a very small difference in size, so your purchase gives you the same great product, and helps the animals with your donation! Shampoochie smells amazingly fresh and clean, and lasts a long time, too. Not only that, but because of the oils it, it conditions the dog's coat, and deters fleas! What a great product -- thanks, Shampoochie and Greenstone! Check out all their wonderful products at www.greenstonesoap.com/. Kate & Bruce have also sold a Shampoochie calendar 2 yrs. in a row and gave ALL the proceeds to our humane society. Thank you so much!
I love a parade...
One of our major fund raising events each year is our Pets On Parade & Costume Contest. Our sponsors make this possible, and the donors to our Silent Auction provide items that raise a great percentage of the monies earned from this event. We can't thank the following businesses and individuals enough for their support: Pet Parade Major Sponsors
Lion's Pride Inn & Apartments for their Gold Sponsorship of this event!
Georgia 105-1 - Major sponsorship, announcing our Pets On Parade promotions on the radio!
Betty's Country Store
