Marg was a huge help with our Upscale Clothing Sale! To quote Megan Girard, our Volunteer Coordinator, "Marg worked tirelessly for weeks, to make sure the event went well.  We couldn't have done it without her!"
Thanks for all you do, Marg! And check out our Adoption Center page... She & son Adam Conner adopted 2 of our precious boxers, Maxx & Patsy.  We know they found a great home!

A preview of the clothing sale before the event - thanks to all the volunteers who helped set things up so nicely

It was a resounding success - $2000 was raised for the Adoption Center!
Our gratitude and sincere thanks goes to
St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church
for hosting this event for the Humane Society. Thanks to all the volunteers
who helped collect items, take them to the sale, and set up everything, as well as work the day of the event.  Thanks to the volunteers who manned our pet adoption booth, as that was successful, too! This shows what great partnering can do - thanks very, very much!

Shown here helping with our clothing sale are: Pat Edwards, Marg Morrow,  Pegi Compton, Larry Compton, Adam Morrow, Megan Girard & John Shaw

Did you know that we have a lot of educational information on our Pet Information and Tips page? Read about common household toxins and foods for pets.  Want some great links for pet training, or for dog & cat treats recipes? Or want a link to send a funny pet e-card that talks? It's there! And if you're looking for animal education, there are links to find animal laws in your state, as well as the national Humane Society's online university!
It is continually growing, so check back often!  There are great sites for kids, too!  Do YOU have a great animal site or tip?  Let us know and we might post it on our Pet Information & Tips page!
